I did a bit of electric racing and I found that sometimes when I put in a particular battery, the car would run in reverse. Have you tried a different battery?
Ben
Gotta love Plymouth :D Nice bunch of lads down here.
There is torbay-rac.co.uk about 40 mins drive.
plymouthrc.co.uk helpful guys there too and the guy who runs it runs a model shop in Plympton...
Jon I got all my updated stuff today and the springs do seem stiffer. The link I put has the updated stuff on you just have to scroll down the page a bit and you'll find them although they do not...
Jon, it's easy. Here is the link where you can find the new springs: http://www.team-durango.com/parts.php?partNo=TD102002&type=OPT
Silver is just the coating on the spring and like the current...
I just want to double check before I buy them. I need the silver green springs and the silver black springs? I assume the green ones are softer than the black?
I'm just checking this as I looked at...
I've also had the same problem. I've heard that you could coax some life back into it by charging as if it was a single cell pack. On my charger I just set it on the LiFe setting on Auto and it...
I realise not many people will have experienced them yet but I was wondering which of the new springs which I see are to be released soon should I get. I think it's the white ones I need but did not...
I can vouch for Dave, he's a top man and always looks after his cars very well with no expenses spared
I'll definitely be there, although my Dad is working until about midday and I should be up for a bit of practice in the afternoon as i'm coming from Plymouth.
Quick question, how much is Saturday practice?
Thanks, Ben
Jon I was running soft Gridirons all day. I had loads of grip when the dirt was sticking and as it dried out I softened up the rear end slightly so by the finals when it was dry I was still using the...
This weekend is the SWORDS at LRC assuming the SWORDS is still running so it might be worth coming down for the weekend as the track is open on Saturday too.
Jon if you don't know if your receiver or servos can take it then your best bet is to run a LiFe battery as they're 6V and they're far superior to the old NiCd or NiMh batteries.
No problems with the front ride height using losi silvers either. The only problem I found was when I wanted to run slightly higher than usual ride height on the rear using Losi silver springs. I...
Losi clutch bells don't fit Jon, I've tried. They're a pretty standard clutch bell and the majority will fit fine. I haven't tried the flywheels itself but I don't see that there would be a problem...
I have wondered this but from testing the Losi silver and Durango blue back to back I'd say that the Durango blue is very slightly harder than the Losi silver. Once the new springs come out I'm not...
All these little things Durango have been working on is very impressive. The only negative thing I had to say about the car was the pin in the mid shafts and as that seems to be getting resolved the...
Just been looking at the DNX408T page and it looks very tasty indeed. A couple of questions though, what are the advantages of those new clip type drive shafts? And what are the advantages of spiral...
Thanks very much for the help. I may just do that, anything to try and catch the guy in front lol
It's funny that, I've run mine for well over a yer and only really started moving these now and noticed this problem. it handles well in both 3 positions but I want to try 9. The only resolution I...
I've actually got a question about the rear camber links. I'm running them in position 3 on the hubs and position 9 on the shock tower. The only problem is that the camber links themselves appear to...
I'm not using any vented caps. I don't know if the losi and durango foams are the same size because running the losi bladders may cause a problem then. You may be able to trim them down if they're...
I had not heard of a problem with the new bladders leaking again, but then again I'm still running Losi ones. If you are still having problems, throw some Losi ones on there and it's a sure fire way...
I know him, I'll get him to PM you his address.
