Would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the UK TRUGGY PRO at NNRC today.
Gladly the weather did us proud and i personally had a great weekend with faces old and new.
Thanks to the Maxbashing lads for a cracking night out in Blackpool on saturday, a top time had by all.. although getting home at 5am was hard work on the first and second round of qualifying..My eyes and brain took that long to register what i was doing
Many thanks to Neil for running todays event with his usual smoothness and strict rod of iron on penalties..
Think the standard of driving overall was superb, and you all enjoyed your visit and stay with us.
If you would like to offer any constructive comments about the track and its facilities, we would love to hear them...We will only improve what we have with your feedback.
So once again, Cheers one and all and roll on Coventry.
Shrek..

Andy,
it was a good weekend my comments:
1: You need to do some work with the PA system, it was loud in the parts that don't need it and quiet around the rostrum. The only place that needs to hear it relaly is the rostrum.
2: need a bar for refulling along the pit straight.
3: Need a better rostrum with 2 sets of stairs which you already know. more space around the rostrum.
4: warm up benchies around the rostrum.
5: some of the areas around the track to stop people cutting corners make it difficult for the drivers to see esp at the table top.
I also think you need to police your local drivers more, a lot of them ran the wrong way around the track and went in the pit lane exit. Never seen that before!
In my view I thought the standard of racing was very good overall.
Neil.
NNRC track is awsome !
only thing i would like to see changed is the set of doubles before the technical section. I would like to see the down ramp extended by about 7 foot instead of landing on the flat . Other than that its butter![]()

Just needed the volume setting correctly on the amp
2: need a bar for refulling along the pit straight.
already there its just not may chose to use it
3: Need a better rostrum with 2 sets of stairs which you already know. more space around the rostrum.
in the pipe line as we speak
4: warm up benchies around the rostrum.
they were as close as possible this weekend and when the new race control is installed is a none issue
5: some of the areas around the track to stop people cutting corners make it difficult for the drivers to see esp at the table top.
thats the idea, why make it easy??
I also think you need to police your local drivers moreand what about all the visitors that had really bad driving in the lower finals, quallies, also drove wrong way around the track etc?? Thats really unfair to tar a few with the same brush as the many,
a lot of them ran the wrong way around the track and went in the pit lane exit. Never seen that before!

idiot in a fat suit!
No, its nothing to do with volume, it has to do with speaker positioning and setup. There is no individual control on the amp for volume, so to have it loud in the pits make it loud all over the track. Every 5 minutes people came in and turned it down, only for me to have to turn it back up.
There is no pit lane area to refuel. I had atleast 20 people mention it to me. Clearly they need glasses.
yeha, so the warm up benches are in the wrong place.
The only drivers I saw drive the wrong way and into the wrong entry to the pits were people who had entered UKTP for the first time. Maybe they aren't all local but I'm pretty sure they were.
Yes the bars there and most were using it but when a truck is on the bar it still overhangs the pit lane and other trucks were coming up and catching the pitted trucks wheels.
Some of the refueling driving was the worst ive ever seen. Trucks were getting stuck on the in ramp, stuck on the out ramp and the amount that actually drove/fell off the ramp altogether and onto the straight was shocking
Now the reason for all that is bad driving, entering and leaving the lane too fast etc and also there was enough room for trucks to drive down the lane and not hit other trucks on the pit bar so bad driving again BUT...we all know how it all goes out of the window in the heat of "battle" so i dont think the pit lane is at fault but to improve it i guess a bit wider would be better.

There are blocks on the pit side of the pit lane to place your car on whilst re fuelling. Clearly they do need glasses. To be fair tho Neil all the points you have raised are either works in progress or none issues. The driving up the track the wrong way fair enough like it shouldnt happen. But rest assured Birdy and the rest of the NNRC massive, myself included are sorting these minor niggles forth with.
