    Default HPI Pulse clutch.

I thought my clutch was slipping as it was reeving but not going far. The brakes were off so its not that.

I bought a alu. hong nor clutch that was recommend from Wheel Spin.

I took it apart and the clutch seems fine. It was expected really as I only recently changed the clutch to an OEM one. I just wrongly presumed it was eating clutches.

Is there anything else that could give me them same symptoms?

You might have a "loose" drive cup on the front or rear diff, check all the "grub screws" are tight.

I have a HPI Rush and had a few drive cups snap and the shafts did pop out from time to time, all it needs is a slipper clutch and it's good to go

Glad you found the problem though, this will be the first place you look in future, LOL
