Default Carbon Fibre and various RC parts

Hey guys. In case you don’t know me, my name is Luis and I live in Camberley. I been in RC for about 20 years and started off in cars, went to planes and about 3 years ago came back to cars.

Over the past couple of years, I have been making little parts here and there, along with modifying others. I have also made loads of carbon fibre bits for people all over the world. As I have access to a couple of CNC routers, I am now going to start doing this on a dedicated basis rather than a now and again thing and see how it goes.

My main forte is the carbon fibre shock towers. I made a whole set for the Hyper ST which I must have sold in excess of 40 sets already. I have also made some custom low profile CF shock towers for the X2 CRT, these were used to great effect by Leggie from Apex Models and Joe J and the guys at SMD.

Most recently, I made some CF towers for Joe J and his crew for the LRP S8 TX.

Apart from the CF parts, I also modified and sold modified hubs for the Losi 8T 2.0 with larger bearings. I have also managed to mill a few chassis to lighten them. I also provide a design service for the above parts, should anyone require something to be drawn up.

Should you require any CF parts, let me know, I normally would require a minimum of 10 items per run to make it cost effective, obviously the more parts per job, the cheaper it becomes. Turn around can be anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the material required. The parts can be anything from shock towers, to brackets, to flat plate chassis. My prices in the past have been extremely competitive and I would like to keep it this way. Unfortunately, prices are based on material and machine costs, so every job will have to priced up individually.

I have some bits and pieces on the shelf which I will list for sale soon. Watch this space for some more RC bits and pieces.

Any queries, please drop me a line.

    Cheers

    Luis

Hey guys, I got a couple of sets of carbon shock towers for the LRP S8TX, as used by member of the LRP truggy team.

These are made from 5mm carbon and are a straight replacement for the standard aluminium ones.

The price per set is £ 32.50 including Royal Mail Recorded delivery

I also have 6 centre diff chassis plates for the Hyper ST. These are made from 5mm carbon and reduce the weight of the centre ali piece dramatically benefitting the weight and centre of gravity of the car. Weight saving for this part alone is grams.

The price for each one is £ 13.95 including Royal Mail Recorded delivery

I have had a few requests for carbon shock towers for the Hyper ST. I need at least 5 interested parties to make it viable.

The centre diff chassis plate is as above, while the shock towers are 4mm CF.

The price per set is £ 38.95 including Royal Mail Recorded delivery

I also have 0 sets of modified Losi 2.0 hubs left. These have been machined to accept the larger and standard size rear bearing. This solves the issue of premature rear outer bearing failure and are being used successfully by a number of Losi 8T 2.0 runners around the UK and internationally.

Price is £ 12.50 per set in the original packaging and sent Recorded Delivery. ALL SOLD - more to come soon.

Sorry, forgot to add, paypal is perfect.

As far as I know, they won't unfortunately. Only the 2.0's buggy or truggy. Sorry.
