Default leaking fuel tank? air bubbles in the fuel line

    hi,

recently been getting some air bubbles in the fuel line nearest the tank (before it gets to the fuel filter) is this because there is a leak in the tank, perhaps where the two halfs are moulded together or perhaps the lid not sealing?

would fuel not be leaking out the tank if air is getting in?
fuel tubing is new, along with exhaust gaskets
    help appreciated thanks

If your getting air bubbles in your fuel line you could try tightening the nipple up coming out the tank if you have one. Also check the seal around the top of the tank.. If your tank is still leaking after doing those check you will need to buy a new one. Fuel won't necessarily leak out the tank if it is leaking in air..
