Total Newbie Going for his First Start

Hi Y'All,
I'm a total newbie to Nitro and it is about time I got my Serpent Truggy fired up so need some advice please.

All batteries are charged, servos and radio all set up.

Starter box ready, fuel in tank.

Simple, possibly stupid, question;-

What do I do next? What is the preferred way to get a Nitro truck started?

take it to someone who runs one easiest, but

take plug out... and blow down pressure pipe with throttle open, also do this while turning the engine over on starter box or pull start. till get some fuel blowing out of the plug hole.
then refit plug attach glow starter turn over and fire her up
