    Default Can i run my engine without Pullstart

    Hyper 7.5 (in bits)

    My Pullstart has broken but i have a starter box, will it be ok to run the engine like this (no pullstart) or will i have to have somesort of back plate?

    you will need to put the starter shaft in the backplate as normal then refit the plastic casing,do not leave the hole open or the engine will not run correctly and possibly damage it.

    For that engine you can just buy a back plate from your local stockest

    when you do that though make sure it will not go into the motorand have the plate thing on that the one way bearing goes onto.

    levon , i think you have got confused again ..

    lostrc123 meant put a blank back plate on , or do what fastboy said and put the shaft back in the OWB hole , and re-fit the pull start casing , and i certainly would'nt fill it with grease ..
