for ashing... i would say any truggy parts that are cheap and easy to get hold of and that is pretty strong.

i have a caster k8t the parts i get from BMM and they are dirt cheap to what the AE and Losi parts are.

so that would be my sugestion if you are bashing

raceing... then i would say have a look at what is mostly raced at your club so if it goes tits up and you do not have any spares then you can borrow from a fellow member.

for pure bashing proline badlands tyres

rims, honestly bowens are thick as **** as should last longer than the badlands, and they will last an age.

grinders are good, but i don't think they'll last long if you ever run on a carpark or dirt given their lifespan on dry astro aint all that.

Most of the truggy guys I know use HPI Shredders on astro (for bashing) and keep their grinders for race days.

Was at my local track the other evening and a brushless truggy guy who had been wheelying all the way down the straight eventually stripped a 17mm drive hex in one of the wheels so I would take people's advice on here regarding wheel choice (I don't know what type they were, sorry).
