Can anyone tell me what the HTML code is to add links to your posts please?
I've looked at all my old college notes and they don't seem to work on here
i.e <a href="url">Link text</a>
Thanks

Use the little button which looks like a link!
Or
URL="http://www.a.com"]Link[/URL
where the "" is the actual link and the remainder is the title
You need to put an open and close bracket at the front and rear of the link, i cant do that otherwise you will just see the link itself.
e.g Risa Racing
you can use [ code] your text here [/ code] without the space in the brackets which is also useful to highlight something
Code:code brackets look like this

You can't use HTML on forums. Well you can but in most cases the Administrator of the board hasn't enabled it's use. The vast majority of boards use a safe substitute known as bulletin board code (BB Code for short). Basically it uses square brackets in place of the html tags and it's alot simpler. This board also has a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, so if you use the buttons above the text input box to edit your text or insert pictures or links or whatever, you'll see that link in the input box, aswell as pictures etc and as soon as you click submit reply, whatever you see in the text input box is exactly what others will see when the post is saved. Hope this helps.
