Default Issue with stock agama clutch set up

    Evening all

Just back from a run with dads and my agama.

However, 2 of my clutch shoes slipped along the pins, and were binding with the clutch bell.

This happened during the run in period as well.

Anyone any idea why this is happening??

    Many thanks

    Chris

If they moved up the pin then was the spring sat in clutch nut properly and not being forced down into position? Is the spring on the shoe the right way?

Springs are on the right way.

I think they where sat on the clutch nut properly, but the 2 that slipped off arent now lol.

The one that didnt slip off is sat properly. Ive put them back on and got all the springs down properly, so ill give it another blast.

In the mean time, what are the JDV clutchs like??

Whoops i meant the clutch nut. The groove on the nut could be worn, not holding the springs in place but if your saying its all new?

    Yea new kit just built.

Reckon the springs may not have been seated right in the groove though.

    Thanks

Are you sure the small tail end of the spring was clipped into the groove on the nut. Sometimes you fit them and the tail does not clip in. When i used that type of clutch i always made double sure it was in the groove and the odd occasion it wasn't.
Firioni now for me so not an issue.
