    Default Weston Park Entry

The entry form for Weston park is now online at http://nitroxcross.co.uk/wordpress/w...-Park-2012.pdf
This year we will be capping the entry at 100 so that we can finish racing earlier and have more time to visit the show .
Priority will be given to drivers who have done at least 50% of the previous Nitro X Cross rounds (3 from 6 rounds) then those who have done 2 rounds then 1 round ,those who have not done any rounds will be on a provisional list until 2 weeks before the event then allocated a place on a first come basis .
Entry fee is £15 for 2 days Racing £10 for 1 day entry fee and a stamped addressed envelope must accompany the entry form ,camping this year is £15 per night (camping on the main camping area is £60 on the gate for the weekend )
You can start arriving from Midday on the friday .
We have been assured this year we will have toilets next to our track .
Booking in will start at 8am with practice at 9am both days

I don't think you will have a problem if you get your entry in early, get yourself booked in Weston is always a great weekend gutted I missed it last year

Well thats not a good way of addressing it is it. This was done so that people who have done 50% of the previous rnds get priority when booking in as it is a very big meeting. And as ian said you should still get an entry as there are 100 spaces available. So maybe dont jump down bryns neck for no reason. This is the fallout from last year as more than 100 people raced last year. What you forget is this is a competative summer series so i think bryn is quite right for doing it this way. But again as ian said you shouldnt have a problem getting an entry so dont worry about it.

first off james i think you've got me mistaken for someone you know!.IF i had an issue with "bryn" i would take it up with him,not post on open forum!!"ian said you should be fine as theres 100 space",,"this is the fall out from last year as over 100 raced"???? that makes no sense does it!,sorting out a weekend away with family/racing takes more than two weeks to plan!some of us combine racing with a family break and having done weston park "back in the day" i will fully recomend it to anyone doing the same(even if its just for the huge burgers!).as for doing it the right way well, good luck with that because there is no one way that works for every racer!!

    Default Series

If people support the series and not just Weston can't really see what issue is, surely they must get propriety!

Even if every driver that has attended the other rounds looking at the results so far there should still be around 50+ places spare, but like I said get in early as this year it doesn't clash with a national so might be a few more getting booked in, well I hope I'm right as I haven't done any other rounds but want to do Weston

I think if you read what Bryn has put it makes sense, the way it comes across to me is the following:

Any driver can enter from now not 2 weeks before the event but priority will be given to drivers who have entered 50% of the series and non priority members will be notified 2 weeks before the event.

So if you enter now you will be one of the first in after all of the priority drivers have been accepted.

Priority has to go to the drivers who have competed in the series as they would have gone to Shrewsbury, Talywain and pembury and are competing for the series championship. It wouldn't be fair if a driver who hasn't entered any rounds gets in before a driver who has been to all of these events and is challenging for points.

At Shrewsbury and Tally only around 40 drivers raced so should be plenty of room for drivers wishing to just enter the Weston Park event.

One way to get higher up the list would be to enter the next 2 rounds at Swansea if you can??

"members will be notified 2 weeks before the event".thats my only problem with it tbh matty, but with only two weeks notice if i'm in or not isnt enough time,if i'm not in its not enough time to book anywhere else so kids go without a weekend away, think my post has been taken the wrong way,i'm saying prority shouldnt be given to drivers that have done every/more rounds, its the notify time that is my only niggle! but like i said before,i really dont think you'll find an answer that every driver will be happy with!
