I've been struggling to understand electric RC for the past week or so. It beggers belief what little information is out there. Either that or I suck at Google. You'd think that manufacturers of batteries, motors and ESCs would at least provide some information on their sites about how to select components and connect them all up.
Anyway, I found this site. I can't vouch for its accuracy or usefulness (what would I know?) but on the face of it, it seems to include a lot of useful information.
I also found this site. It's already been linked to elsewhere on the forum but I'll include it for convenience sake.
I've made this a sticky. Nice info.
Cheers
