Nnrc is go for racing !!!!!!

After 6 long and hard weekends the new refurbed NNRC finally took its final shape and is now ready for the 2012 season

Thanks to everyone who turned up at the NNRC track today for the final push !!!!!

And what a push it was....All 36 rolls of astro down, put in place with the telehandler and manual shoved and pulled and tugged into place.

The new fence finalised and the piping down and fixed in place.

A few test runs of buggies and truggies and great comments from the drivers.

THE TRACK IS GOOD TO RACE AND READY FOR A POUNDING....

Since the new improved track we havn't had much time to track test and get feedback.

SO

NNRC will be open this Bank Holiday Monday for a SHAKEDOWN DAY

£5.00 for the day.

It will give us feedback from yourselves the drivers and give us time to finalise a few minor jobs we didnt get done prior to last sunday.

Due to the weird forecasts i have seen, it has been decided to open the track for practice both Saturday and Monday

Laps will be timed but their will be no club transponders available.

Got 1/3rd done, and another 72 rolls of astro coming beginning of august ready for PHASE 2.

Since the revamp Racing numbers are up and its always great to get good feedback and positive comments.

Since taking over, and having raced at other U.K tracks you see where we where missing out and what we could achieve.

As all clubs know its hard work, time, money and dedication from club members that push us on to improve the track and facilities we offer.

Hopefully when its all done we can look at holding bigger meets and maybe National events again.

TIME WILL SEE..
