I had a wicked day today thanks to all involved in organising the day it was brilliantly run i didt do too bad considering i had no pt in the first heat because i told alex the wrong number d'oh. I bumped up out of my final and was in a good position to bump up again but after a bit hit my shell split and was not usable anymore so had to retire but hey thats racing i spose. On a plus note i got my first trophy today so chuffed with that. Cant wait for the next round now

A big thank to Alex, Tim, Dave , Ben for all their hard work to make a great meeting and not forgetting the ladies that keep us in good grub and anyone that i have missed

This was a great weekend and all went nice and smooth

One thing i would like to say is that the people who supported the meeting made it very pleasurable for me, as a racer, to be there, and i can honestly say what a great bunch of guys and gals

    Come on round two

    Great day and opening round.
I had an eventful day to say the least, and your gonna hear about it like it or not
It all started on Friday! When i dropped my transmitter at home on a stone floor! The battery cover broke off but it was working fine, and one was in the post free of charge after a call to Horizon.
Fast forward to heat 1 today, and after the warm up it starts to lose contact with the car, off and on, all through the heat and it seems the radio is fubbered!
So that was heat 1 down....... 'Le shitter'!
Mr Skelton then kindly loans me his tranny for heat 2 and 3, so a quick rebind in a neutral model memory and its good to go.
Heat 2 and lots are changing to mini pins and i follow. Two minute warm up complete, and it pisses down! Track like an ice rink with pins on, an had to nurse the car the whole heat.
So that was heat 2.....'Le shittered'!
Heat 3 was a good en, but im resined to being in the bottom final.
Im shocked to find im in the 3rd final ! Of course you think where would of i been if id had three good heats
But now i had another problem...Skelly had qualified a few places above me so obviuosly needed his tranny, selfish tw*t So im fooked.
Then up rides my night in shining armour...Kev Mac!!
"Ive goy my tranny in the boot of me car" Get the fu*k in!!
So..... im on my 3rd radio of the day, i get third place bump and then finish the next final 7th.
Just shows, when you think its all going to pot it can still come good.
Thanks to all that pulled me out of the brown, and to all of the NDOR crew for a great day.
    Gray.
