Default macbook pro 15'' late 2008 edition

my old macbook pro needs to go..
it doesnt work at the moment, ive given it to the repair guys and they say it just needs a new logic board (as i fried the old one by spilling a drink on it!).. it comes with everything including charger except for the hard drive which i removed for security reasons... can be used as spare or repair, sata hard drives are cheap as chips now anyway! im just always a bit weary of letting my own hard drives go, better off being burnt and binned! lol
ive upgraded to a new one anyway so just want to get rid of this one lying around.. logic boards are easy to come by but i dont need this old macbook so cant see the need to repair it lol!
make me an offer i cant refuse..
    nick.

the macbook is in superb condition, just one very small dent on the lid where i dropped my keys on it 2 days after i bought it! other than that pretty much brilliant condition!

    im looking for £350 ono.
    thanks for looking

approx £250 to get this machine up and running again is not much considering new it cost about £1700.. even though its a few years old the dual core processor will beat the pants off any new laptop you can get today for the £600 mark.. plus 4gb ddr3 ram.. enough to handle the most demanding editing software (final cut pro) effortlessly.

I was not having a dig, its just that i am looking to get off the windows bandwagon and break into mac,
i do know the cost of these machines and i was looking for a cheap route so i was investigating the buy a logic board and do the repair myself,as i have done a few laptop fixes in the past and in no way am i an expert,
    so please don't be offended
    regards
    Paul.
