KMRC Mk2???

just thought i would put this idea across a second KMRC Track. i have access to 7 acres of land (think it might just be enough for a track)
i wanted to know if anyone else would be interested in creating this track.
the land is located around high halden area. about 10-15 drive from ashford.

If anyone thinks this is a viable idea, let me know so we can get the wheels in motion, that way we could have extra race dates on a completely different track. obviously need to discuss fees etc and rent to the land owner. but the land is just sitting there doing nothing!

Its hard enough work maintaining 1 track let alone two!!

Given the work thats gone on this winter and how utterly brilliant the track is this year I doubt we have any appetite to repeat the process.

But....

With the aggravation we've had in the past - regarding the flying club (that we share the field with) being a bunch of cock-jockeys and having to go through the planning approval process, its worth keeping this bit of land in the back of your/our minds....

Mind you put it to the club committee anyway, Mark, Gary, Neil etc see what they have to say on Sunday.

yeah high halden is in kent, not far from ashford but closer to tenterden. so not to bad a drive from crawley!

I would suggest you talk to somone one the committee on Sunday.

Having said that I doubt theres much appetite to build and maintain a 2nd KMRC track a fair distance away from the current one, its hard work.

i and others close can be responsible for maintanence, i know that there is one person from ashford on here. maybe getting my mates to join in lol! also have some interest from Elite Models ashford in helping out.
