Closing down !!!

I know it might sound a little mercenary, but do let us know when/if you should sell the track parts.....I'm just thinking there might be some others that might be interested in the astro, border piping, jumps, etc.

Best thing to do is speak to philip the land owner i can't imagine that he would want to keep the timing equipment and maybe the piping as he has still got the piping from the dirt track also. he will still want the astro and jumps though.

Sad to see another track dissappear.......had many good times there over the years,unfortunatly this seems to be the trend in the current climate.
It is a shame after all the work Emma and Grim have put in....all the best for the future.

May i take this oppurtunity in wishing Emma & Grim all the very best whatever they decide to do in the future;

In my years of racing we have some excellent meetings down there including the rally x nationals running truggies down there for a short period before the excellent dirt track got bulldozed down

It is such a great shame to see some of the good tracks disappearing from under our feet but as they say MONEY TALKS It makes me so mad all the bloody work time effort and endles hours that goes into geting the right places and the good tracks and then it has to go my main concern is where and what will be left in the year 2015 for us racers to go to ???

Very sad news, I've raced more at Southend than any other track after MaxBashing. And while it's gone through more name and management changes than you could shack a stick at, it's always been a great place with friendly people that I'm sure everyone will miss.

Good luck for whatever you all decide to do in the future.

A bit late on this but...I raced and shopped at Action Park (Nova to me ) a fair bit and used to visit there when it first opened on my lunch break to watch the big races.

I bought most of my stuff there as it was my closest decent model shop! I for one will sadly miss this place, a local venue - so pleased I got on the dirt last year

I hope Emma, Grim & Neil come out of this on top, a day at Nova was a good day! What other venue offers such a nice breakkie, fuel & supplies, camping, big events etc etc.

Will be sadly missed by many...

What is the actual closing date of the shop, I was told it was already closed so drove to MK Racing for a new car 'n' engine, then Brian Harvey, doh, I mean Keith Newton told me you were still open.

I would of come to you instead if I had of known! Not only are you just 10 mins up the road but you are friendly & helpful & the big plus about your shop is the track is beside it so I can get my bits and watch some racing

If you are still trading down there I'll pop down for a gander and some bits.
