We love our forum and it is a great extension to our meetings and a chance for people from all over the world to share bashing experiences - but if people don’t follow these rules we will act accordingly so please respect the forum and it’s members

MaxBashing accepts no responsibility for items sold or exchanged through this forum. If you have sold something through the forum please add a SOLD post to the end of your thread so that the title can be edited.

Use the Correct Forums and Topics
Please use the correct forums for your chats, we have kept the place simple so you won’t find it too confusing. Use the MaxBashing Lounge for all non R/C chat and the General R/C Discussion for anything which doesn’t fall into the other r/c forums.

Use the Search Function and check the History
The "Search" function on our forum is excellent and can be used to search all past posts, it can save you loads of time and provide instant answers to your problem and probably more in-depth that the ones you will get if the question has been asked before.

Promotional Posts
Are welcome from MaxBashing sponsors and or advertisers. Announcements of latest products in stock or the odd special offer is fine; please also take a moment to help other forum members where you can. Any business wishing to promote themselves through MaxBashing should email dan@maxbashing.com for further details

Spamming
There is no need to repeat your post in several sections, one will do. If we see multiple posts on the same subject, they will get deleted. Repeat offenders will go on moderation and if they continue...

Do Not Use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS
Using ALL CAPS is annoying to read and is considered "yelling" when online, SO TURN OFF THE CAPS!

Correct Grammar and Spelling
If English is not your primary language or you obviously have difficulty with spelling most people will be tolerant, however the forum has a built in spell checker to help you, please be sure to use it.

Text talk
Text talk is strictly prohibited !
Using numbers, single letters or a combination of both instead of typing the full word doesn't make you look cool, it makes you look like a lazy immature muppet. You're not limited on "space", and you can't be in a "rush" since you have booted up your PC, logged in, looked at the thread and decided to make a post.
So "b4 sum1 tells u it's ok 2 post like tht, fink again m8

Banning and Moderating Users
Prohibiting users from posting in our forum is one way to keep out users who enjoy causing trouble for other users and the MaxBashing Crew. While we would prefer not to have to do this, if users repeatedly offend and aggravate a situation and refuse to calm down we will have no alternative. If users cause trouble more than 3 times they will be put on moderation and each of subsequent posts will need to be approved. Moderation will be lifted if the user calms down and posts nicely. We don't like having to do it, as it's more work for us, so please don't make us.
Any hint of Racism will result in an instant ban, we simply will not tolerate it!
Any member creating another account, due to their current account being placed on moderation, will be BANNED for life !

Moderation:
The members in this forum that act as moderators are both helpful and knowledgeable, particularly in the areas that they look after. Minding a large and busy forum such as this takes a lot of time, effort and sometimes patience on their part. The moderators do this job because they enjoy it and without reward, so please do not argue with the moderators, their decision is generally final. Open criticism of a moderator will not be tolerated, however you can always take your discussion off-line via the PM facility should you wish to follow your point up

Links to other RC forums will only be allowed if the "said" forum is based around a race track.
Maxbashing are more than willing to help promote any race tracks around the country, but will not help promote other RC based forums. (you don't see the Sun newspaper advertising in the Times do you ?

Signatures
Signatures are to be a maximum of;
1 banner that's 468x60 pixels
**OR**
4 small lines of small text.

Links to your personal sites etc.. are fine but no links to personal stuff you have for sale. We have a Sales/Wants section for that. And no links trying to get people to sign up for special offers, blind click games or any other dodgyness :thumb

New Registrations
At the moment and for the forseeable future we regret that we cannot accept users with a gmail.com email account due to the incredibly high volume of spammers who breach websites like this.
