Whats happening at stoke with EP? are there dedicated heats yet or do they run with nitros?

We only get one or to electric at stoke so they go in with the nitros and have forced battery changes

Forced battery change! how long is a heat?

How quick have your electric guys got this down to? A reasonable nitro splash and dash is 3 seconds bet they can not change a battery out in 3 seconds.

They either do a battery change or ten second stop go depend on heat times , we have had up to 30 min finals In the past .

We only have 1 regular electric !

30 minute final you have to do a battery change so fair enough.

For 20minute finals or below 10s stop go or battery change is proper harsh, it does not encourage electric buggies in my opinion to run at the club it make them uncompetative. An e buggy that can do 20mins is a heavy thing. Is the club not keen on the e buggy? Or is your E buggy driver really good and you have to slow him down?

Normally if 20 min or below he will drive into pits, his pit man will lift car up and then put it back down and off he goes.

They might be heavier cars with battery's, but they also go like stink so don't think ,you are that disavantaged.

I've done a 54 second battery change before (in a 25 min final) and still managed to win.
Just buy 2 of the same battery which are fairly light (rather than a heavy one to do the 25/30 mins) and work on doing a battery change.
I think you could get the battery change down to 40 seconds no problem.

The club will gladly run electric buggy in with the rest of the field but a 20-25 min final the nitros pit 2-3 times and average stop I would say is 5 seconds ( yes some do it quicker) so I don't think they are disadvantaged besides electric are quicker in my opinion providing the driver as the skill to tame the instant power.
