well what can i say thats it 1 year done in rc racing and yes what a great year its been!!!!
from meeting some really good guys and girls to seeing some off the best drivers on the track showing how its realy done!
learning the difference between a rtr of the shelf car to a higher spec kit car with a proper race engine, knowing what tyres to use for what track and weather to what diffreant shock/diff oils can do to your cars performance!
so i say this with a second place finish in the nvr summer series and over a grand to learn to drive and set up cars, was it worth it??
    HELL YES
will i be looking forward to the winter series and summer to follow? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm dame right!!!

big thanks to every 1 who has helped me out with addvise and support and to make me the rc enthusiastic that i am now
hope to do more traverling this year to diffrent clubs to see gain more addvise and trophys if i can lmao

well with round 2 off the winter series upon us and a newish car to start the series with am really looking forward to seeing if my driving has made any improvements in the last year!
biggest change to this year would be managed to make contact with ae team drivers to help with set up of car
Now if this dont help ive got no chance
Big thanks to jimbo and gary will keep you posted on how car performs this weekend.
Changes to car: new low b plate, new kyosho wing and a set of 8x 1.3 pistons

what can i say, after running ae for a year now ive liked the car! with some tips from gary the car was 10 times better i didnt know this rc8b .2 could handle that well this weekend, even with the weather playing havok on the track the car responded with very little eas! got 2nd place in a final and due to some human error(newby to sport, nerves) had a late start and still mamnaged to catch up to 3rd place and as lady luck would have i made a silly erorr, unfortunatly the marshal couldnt see or hear me screaming my tits off put me about 10-15 behind last place, with some nerves off steel managed to creep back up and finish 3rd!!
big thanks to gary for the tips.

    Default first big meeting:-)

The Dez Chand Championship was my first big turn out event!! and i know it was all about the fun of racing rather than the winning it really gave me the chance to see what its like to be around so many other guys and girls competing! the experiance of a new track and being run the other dirrection really gave me some thinking to do and was really a big learning curve for what could be an intresting racing year!!! And have to say meeting the guys from team associated was a really big help in getting the car to perform alot better!! cheers guys
and these are my new colours

Well what a refreshing change to read so many posative thoughts and comments about buggy racing. I'm really pleased you have enjoyed your experience into model car racing. Your report was interesting and well written. Good on ya fella, and race you soon at Nene Valley amongst others
