Round 4 cancelled - future rounds discussion

this poll is un official and so will the round if it is run

Is a shame that they've decided to drop the round but not reduce the number of counting rounds. Basically it screws anyone who did not do the trek to Swindon which for most people was too far away for a regional meeting...

This is very disappointing.
Why put up a poll on two forums then cancel the round when two clubs have offered to run it at short notice.

I couldn't make the first Kent round as it was way to far for me to travel ( this seems to excuse being used, lol ). The series points surly now must be 3 out of 5 ( as in F1 the rules have changed ).

Sorry folks, I was asked to post this up but it appears was a waste of my time

As said above, the round scheduled for 7th August will not be happening at any venue - at least it's a free weekend for club meetings since we've had all this crap weather this 'summer'.

Agreed.

Somewhat annoying, I couldn't make the SRS round that was more or less in in the midlands.

I may not make Clanfield sadly, no point in me going to Adur SRS round in that case now, I'll give Adur a go on a normal club day.

With the round now being offically cancelled I can't make enough rounds to count, with this in mind theres no point me doing the rest of the series just to make up numbers.

Given that we're down to 5 rounds, would people be happier to have 3 counting rounds, rather than 4?

Numbers booked in for both Adur and Clanfield are looking pretty strong at this point in any case, but interested if those posting above would turn up if it were 3 counting rounds?

Post views and will amend as necessary. Given the number of places info has been posted it's difficult to keep tabs on where info needs to be updated - I've only just noticed that the calendar on Pirate hadn't been amended to reflect the loss of 7th August round.

I think if a round is being dropped, the number to count should also be dropped accordingly....
