After another successful Swords race in which the competition was very tough I have put together some more pictures of the action for the members of Maxbashing to peruse. It's been a great series so far and we still have few more rounds to go yet so the points are there for the taking.
This weekend saw 1/8th buggies and truggies competing in separate heats on the Torbay RC astro turf. Torbay RC have recently overhauled their layout improving some turns and adding extra lumps and jumps. A number of drivers had not tried the new configuration yet so the first qualifiers were spent finding the lines and working out tactics. As usual in the Swords competition there were plenty of 1/8th buggies that were split into 3 heats with 10 buggies in each. Losi, Hypers, Agama, Mugen, Annsman, AE... were all present and wearing their best astro tyres.
I can't remember the details of the racing too much and maybe HOCracing can deal with them in his blog. Overall though it was a great days racing and Torbay RC, in particular J. Andrews ensured the track was at it's best and the organisation as smooth as ever. Thanks for the hard work!
