Hi guys
It's been a while, infact, a year since I started this blog. I think I have finally finished the main attraction. I have gone the centre diff route, with the mount being home brewed of course.
Proline shell after all, sprayed with the use of aerosols and masking tape. Hope you guys dont think it looks too bad.
Extended rear bumper with home made wheel in slot to stop bumper being ground away after half an hour lol.
General layout, cell location has been moved rearward to try and counteract the trucks nose heavy orientation when airborne. Looks neater than old set up. Esc will be moved back a bit later on. Hyper ST 52t centre diff should hold up, have filled it with 30k as a starting point, I dont want the front tyres pizza cutting too much. recommendations are always appreciated though. Prop shafts are cut 'n' shut Hyper ST items.
Early indications are possitive, only had a go out in the street but seems like it will be fun which is the whole point of this game eh.
Thanks to my foreman having the week off so I was able to make the mounts in work time (shhh, dont tell anyone) since it's scowled upon to do rabbits at my place, even on lunch breaks.
Comments appreciated guys, and thanks for all the previous. this truck is 7 years old this christmas and it's nice to breathe new life into a forgotten class. May the hardcore bashing long continue, without disturbing anyone.
nice one crazy, looks good
Cheers John, happy new year.
I've just done my own Yu'be channel, so will get a vid up on it as soon as weather and vidcam allow
See you soon.
