Kev, sort it out!!!
As for Truggies, my view.
The engineering principles are virtually identical, they are just a bit bigger and have bigger wheels. No issues at all, if anything I would prefer them to be present at every meeting as this gives me more time to clean my buggy.
Too many people having hissy fits, complaining and blah, blah blah.
I think if there are enough truggies to fill a heat then lets race!!!!
Happy Christmas
so far i have read posative comments which will give me a batter feeling when attending race meetings carry it on lads n lasses![]()

as my first year of racing coming up in 2011,
surely buggy or truggy it keeps the sport of racing going,
weather you have buggy or truggy its a relatively small sport compared to others, so the way i see it both are cool...........
the more of each the better
To be honest mate I would not worry so much.
Truggies aint bad, its the hypocrisy and nonsense that comes with competing clubs and associated racing series's that leave a bad taste in the mouth (+ the electronic mouth)
Whilst we all appreciate the effort that goes into running a club, truggies are not the issue.
however to keep on track - more truggies = more cleaning time and more happier customers
Youre just obsessed with cleaning!!!
BTW if no one knows Richard ^^^^^ He will do a full nut and bolt rebuild at lunch just fer cracks!! I swear he's got OCD!!! Theres clean and then theres Rich Greenough clean!!
idiot in a fat suit!
I can only see truggys as helping the hobby/sport grow. The extra revenue the drivers bring to the track i'd bet is noticeable. 10 drivers at £10 ago.... £100. I personally like buggys because i like the extra challenge but also the cheaper tyres. It does get a lil bit frustrating if you have had to qualify in a truggy & buggy heat but hey its supposed to be against the clock, which no driver in off road racing seems to remember. Theres a 3 metre wide track to pull out the way!!!!! . . . back on track tho, if you like racing them keep racing them. I don't have a problem tbh.

Having moved from truggys to buggies, here's my view:
I love truggies. I got told that buggies were the top of the sport and so much harder to drive than truggy.
I immediately beat my truggy lap times with the buggy, lol.
Whilst similar, they do drive differently, but both are fun and both have a place at the same races.
Buggies have many more drivers though and the competition is fiercer because of this. The biggest issue with truggies for me was racing the same 10 drivers week in week out. It rarely mattered whether you had a good or bad qualifying, you ended up in the A final.
This is purely down to lack of drivers doing truggy, if there were more, I probably would have stuck with them rather than switching.
I'd love to see truggies have the same following as buggies and pray that the drivers can start working together to provide good quality racing and decent turn outs.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that bridges can be built and that race organisers can be pursuaded that truggies are a viable alternative to RallyX, I believe they are, but it's not me that needs to be convinced.
