They are on hold for the time being Phil, still searching for a machine shop who can make them for a reasonable price so the end product isnt a fortune. I have found a place who maybe able to help so will keep the thread updated.

Well after a long long wait the RC Pit Caddy is going in to production. I am having the first 10 units produced in the coming weeks and the first should be ready end of August.

The price will be £65 which is a lot but remember these are high quality alloy and will last longer than the rest of your RC gear! They will not crack or snap like other cheaper alternatives.

The unit will be 15mm lower than the prototype and will include holes for glowstarter, screw drivers and slots for mounting the battery with the supplied velcro straps. The starterbox mounting can be strapped or bolted depending on your preference and will come with the nuts and bolts to mount it but will not include the straps. It will also have the magnetic strip for keeping those body clips where you put them.

It won’t come with any of the electronics but will include the mounting clip for the Sure-Start

If you want to be included on the first run of 10 please let me know, I will be taking a £10 deposit and need to know your colours preference.

It will be made from 2mm high quality aluminum and be finished in powerder coat paint in either black, red or blue. I’ve been using the prototype for about 6 months now and the finish of the paint is still excellent.
