Default Baja and FG Lights, cage joiners, and Bits

    Hi Guys,
I will be adding various bits and bobs to this page as time goes on, but basically I have been producing odd bits for my own use for years, and recently started selling some of the bits on Ebay. The LED lights are selling very well, as are the Roll cage joiners for doing the Baja cage conversion.
I have been told to try and keep stuff to one thread, so I will be updating the 1st post of each item, from time to time rather than just rolling on down the page.

Anything you see and think that you need something simular, there is always a good chance that I can make what you want. So please contact me via PM or email at burgesskab@aol.com and I will get back to you.

Default HPI Baja Roll cage Tubes/Joiners.

    Now improved, 20mm longer.

Roll cage joiners, used for joining the Baja's cage after it has been cut to enable quick removal.

These tubes are 120mm long machined Aluminum, with a fine brushed finish. The slide neatly over the cut ends of the roll cage and do not require any fixing, although they can be drilled, and have R clips, screws or bolts fitted if required.

A pair of tube are selling for, £ 7.00 Posted, UK Mainland.

    Default LED Lighting systems.

I have lights for the HPI Baja 5B & 5T, as well as the FG truck.
I have two types of lighting system available, either a:
Heavy duty pre built system ranging from a pair of plug in front pod inserts for the Baja 5B, to a 2+2+2+ rear lights with brake lights and an electronic switch to do On-Off or Hi-lo beam for the headlights. As well as fully wired sets for the FG
    Or
The new 'Plug and Play' system. With tis system you can add or take away lights as you want. There is a main connection block that is mounted at the side of the receiver box where the lights plug in. This block of connection can be wired up so that some of the outlets work through either a manual or electronic (3rd channel) switch, and some of the outlets are permeate live from the main switch, to feed things like your PT or Battery watch meter.

The simple plug in set for the HPI Baja, fits the standard roll cage light pod inserts. This type of lighting set can be fitted with a longer feed wire to fit the lights at the front of the Baja, or longer tails to fit the lights higher on the roll cage, as no extra cost.
These are selling well on Ebay at £11.00 + £3.00 p&p. Maxbashing Price: £13.00 delivered.

This type of light can also be made to fit the Baja 5T, with 4 headlight clusters.

The Plug and Play system uses a built in Y lead, to connect inside the receiver box. This can be fitted with a Manual switch or a radio operated electronic switch.
These connection blocks can have anything from 2 to 8 outlets fitted

The lights are made in pairs. The standard set will do the roll cage mounts or lights mounted on the front shock tower, a longer set is available to put the lights out on the front bumper.

Rear lights are also available and with the addition of the brake switch you can have the side/brake light effect.

    Default New web site

Time has moved on a bit since the first posting, ebay sales have been good on the lights and Tubes, so thought it was time to add a web site.
    http://sprigsbajabits.webs.com/
Its only one of the freebie sites at the moment, which gives me limited sales area but it will do to see what sort of response I receive from it, if its good then I can easily upgrade the account.

Sprigs Baja Bits is also Proud to announce that it is the Principle sponsor of the 'Cornwall Model Racers Club' for 2011, where we are currently involved in upgrading the track and giving the club a makeover.
Just need to update the earlier posts to bring them up to date with the current range of products, which I will do very soon.

    Cheers all,

    Sprig.

Oh boy, I have been away from Maxbashing for a long time!!! Just to update this thread, I still make lights and Baja bits to order. I'm not sure if my PM still works on here, but I'm available on burgesskab@aol.com or via facebook https://www.facebook.com/radiocontrolcarrepairs?ref=hl

    Cheers.
