Truggy Shootout

Yes we attempt to ask everyone's favourite question, just what is best! With five of the MB Team and a new Gung Ho Pro (our tame Pro driver) testing six top kits and a seventh wild card in the form of Cabbie's Revo Derived Truggy we evaluate each kits, pass comments, score them in five categories and finally let you know in which order we would buy them!<more>

News:Hyper ST Pro
thumb1HoBao are back doing what they do best, which is of course bringing us cost-effective kits which offer durability and performance equal to much more expensive manufacturers.  They first did it with the Hyper 7 buggy and now they’ve done it again with the Hyper ST 1:8 scale truggy.  In the hands of Graham Alsop and Jon Howels, this truggy kept up with, and out-performed, all the other brands out there and they were only using the ready-to-run model.  Now HoBao are about to spoil us all with the launch of the ST Pro.

Packed with additional hop-up items such as CVD drive shafts, new aluminium suspension arm mounts, shock towers, chassis braces and front top plate, plus a carbon radio tray, dogbone pattern tyres, new six-spoke wheels and an ultra low, sleek, sexy-looking body shell.  Add this to the many great features the kit already contains and it sure looks like you’re onto a winner.  The Hyper ST Pro will be available as a rolling chassis (so will require engine, servos and radio equipment) from the middle of July from local hobby shops. From www.cmldistribution.co.uk RRP £349.99
