With five of the MB Team and a new Gung Ho Pro (our tame Pro driver) testing six top kits and a seventh wild card in the form of Cabbie's Revo Derived Truggy we evaluate each kits, pass comments, score them in five categories and finally let you know in which order we would buy them!<more>

MAXBASHING TRUGGY SHOWDOWN

Introduction to the cast
Putting wrongs right, crashing a lot and generally making great trucks seem average, the MB-Team can be trusted to find a weak spot on any RC vehicle and then fully exploit it.So meet the team…
• Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith – Dan Foulds - The leader simply because he was first to put his hand up and we’re all obviously very gullible.• Captain H.M “Howling Mad” Murdoch – Nobby - Very much over-qualified for the role, but both Matron and the care in the community officer said it may be beneficial.
• Lieutenant Templeton “Face” Peck – Madman Marcus – He is Faceman because Marcus has a face that only a mother could love and at times it beams with his “I’m special” smile.
• Sergeant Bosco “Bad Attitude” Barracus - Matt Ross – He may not be black, but he has rhythm and has been known to regularly say “I pity the fool who buys a Hellfire!”
• Amy Allen – Julio Pittelli – Someone drew the short straw but it does help that he has a thing about women’s clothing and is strangely effeminate already (don’t tell him I said that though).
Picture the scene
A message reached the team that there were people out there… we weren’t sure about this as we don’t get many messages, but we were then shown a picture and couldn’t argue with that. There were people out there who felt they needed to know just which of the top truggies on the market today would come out on top if all of the very best models were pitted directly against each other. We ummed and ahhed about the predicament for a while, Amy did nothing as per usual, Face gave his special smile for no apparent reason, Murdoch wiped some dribble off his chin, BA let out a series of grunts so we left the room for some air just as Hannibal poked himself in the eye with a cigar before exclaiming… I love it when a plan comes together!Introducing the Gung Ho Pro
Some say he was borne with a transmitter in his hands; others believe that highly advanced surgery has heightened the senses in his finger tips providing him with stealth-like reflexes.
