Serpent's team drivers are sporting a big rear-end revision on their Cobra 811B buggy, we caught up with Frenchman and former B-Euro Champion Jonathan Bacro who will be running the updated car this week in Austria. The biggest change are the shock positions, originally mounted infront of the rear arms, they are now positioned towards the rear, as is the norm on most 1/8 buggys. This revision meant that the swaybar is now linked to the wing mount rather than the gear box and the arms are now new, as is the shock tower, with what looks like added camber link holes. We spoke with another Serpent team member, Riccardo Acciari, who said he hadn't tested the new parts yet but did say despite being quite happy with how his car handled, it should give more on power steering and reduce understeer.
