The ambitious club in St Quentin, northern France have announced their first international race, the St Quentin Nitro Outdoor - the event will be held 21-22nd October and despite falling on the same weekend as the Nitro Challenge at the indoor facility IBR Padova, several of France's best drivers are expected to attend. The two-hour drive from Calais also makes it attractive for the traveling Brits who come October don't have a whole lot of outdoor racing options, not to mention the highly-rated spectacular St Quentin track. The event offers one of the last opportunities for some of the European top drivers to meet prior to the December Worlds for practice and racing against each other. The format will also include the now-popular 'Last Chance Qualifier' concept as made famous at Neo12 and a super pole race to determine the starting grid order for the final - all in the name of entertainment and providing more exciting racing. As mentioned the location is close to Calais and also 90 mins north of Paris' main airport Charles de Gaulle. Entries are limited to 128 racers with an entry fee of only 22 Euros.
