Ho Ho Ho…..Happy Christmas!!!
Err hang on! That was the Noel, it’s been and gone. The trophies were given, the track was dismantled and everyone said “same again next year please”.
What the 1/8th off road race community didn’t expect, was a trip back so soon after!
So what is it about the Dirt Workz crew and religious festivals!?
Wez and Wayne church goers you think? Hmm, maybe not! Wayne’s usual place of worship is the local ‘trani’ bar so I can’t see it myself.
Spotting a gap in the calendar after another event usually held over the Easter weekend was moved to August, (cant for the life of me think what it was called!!) the Dirt Workz team decided to hold another two day race weekend at their fantastic indoor venue at Valiants Farm.
So, after telling the wife I was home for Easter and spending it with my loved ones, I then had to break it to her I was spending it with……..my other loved ones!! She threatened to break me! But a hot cross bun and a chocky egg did the trick, and with a hotel booked, I was all set for another cosy, dry dirt session, with no weather worry’s as we had a roof above our heads.
Right….. Now forget model motor sport for a moment and let me educate you
